Support for Groups

This is going to be an incredibly difficult time for the voluntary sector. PAVS' aims to keep you update with the latest information and updates on COVID19 that will affect your organisation:

Pembrokeshire Voluntary Group Covid-19 Survey

During these difficult times PAVS is working with statutory voluntary and third-sector partners to mobilise volunteers and provide aid to communities.

PAVS recognises that voluntary organisations and community groups are doing wonderful work but can also be struggling to maintain services, buildings and support to their members and the wider community.

PAVS will continue to support you in the best way we can but we need to know what services you are able to offer and what support you need. Your response to this survey will help us to tailor our services to meet your needs.

It will also enable us to identify sector-wide issues and trends that we can raise with Welsh Government in an effort to secure additional resources for the third sector in Wales.

We would be grateful if you would complete the short survey below to let us know how your organisation is doing, how you are dealing with the Coronavirus restrictions and where you might need our help and advice.

You will find the Survey by clicking

The PAVS team are still available to offer support, just email development@pavs.org.uk and we will get in touch as soon as possible.

PAVS can support voluntary and community groups, charities and social enterprises with a range of services including:

  • Information, guidance and tailored support designed to help with every stage of an organisation’s development from setting up an organisation, guidance on the range of legal formats available, policy support, registering as a charity, intensive support through times of development or change through to guidance should the organisation choose to wind-down and dissolve,

  • help with funding - PAVS has developed considerable expertise in this field and aims to provide the most comprehensive, up to date and accessible funding support service in the county; see here for more information on the funding advice service and here for the latest funding news.

  • providing a range of training opportunities – see here for our latest programme, but if you can’t see what you need then we can work with you to identify and secure for you the training your organisation needs, and

  • practical services like printing, copying and office services.

All support services are delivered by our friendly and knowledgeable staff team. They can be accessed and delivered, by email, phone, in person at our fully equipped and accessible resource centre in Haverfordwest or at a mutually convenient outreach location in the county.

We are committed to ensuring that the support available for groups is tailored to what is really needed. If you can’t see the support your group needs please get in touch to set up an informal discussion where we will explore the options and, or signpost you to other support organisations which might be more appropriate.
